Assalammualaikum wbt

Sementara masa yang ada ni, free belum start belajar, maybe boleh selalu sikit update..From my previous post, ada orang suruh elaborate macam mana study yang salah tu. And maybe i can share, from my point of view, macam mana study dengan betul. .But please take note, tak semua orang punya cara belajar sama. U have to find your own style. Tapi tak salah nak tanya macam mana orang lain study.

For me, studying 2nd year and 1st year or foundation requires different study skills. For ukm, studying second year totally different from first year. During first year, more to basic stuff like anatomy, biochem, infections, immunology, physiology, pharmacology like that. But basic-basic pun, bukan senang kot. Nama pun medic. hehe. Hadap je lah. Once dah masuk medic, dont look back. Go on.

Second year is the turning point, yang mana korang akan start study ikut system. Contoh, cardiovascular system, Respiratory system, Urinary system, Reproductive system, Nervous system, dan banyak lagi. Total ada 9 modules for second year ukm. Tu tak masuk lagi modules sampingan yang akan menyebabkan tahap stress anda mencapai tahap gaban. hehe.

So, for me, during second year, korang memang kena have study skills yang betul. Tak nafi, ada je yang nampak macam 'hu-ha-hua' tapi result gempak. Some of them are genius. Korang kena tahu, bukan korang je pandai. Once korang masuk med school, korang compete dengan 80 orang top students in your batch for example. Semua top students spm or foundations of coz.

Masa second year. Take Cardiovascular system as an example. In cardiovascular system, u have to learn their anatomy, embryology, physiology, pathology then their treatment or pharmacology. In pathology you have also their immunology and bacteria that can cause pathology(disease) to the cardiovascular system.

Ok. Apa yang saya buat salah dulu? Saya tak study ikut arrangement! Sebab, nobody told me about that. -.- And aku pun sengal jugak, faham tak faham, bajet pandai, buat-buat faham. hahaha. Of course you have to know the anatomy first, lepas tu u have to know their physiology. Understand every formulas, every laws, every concepts. How do they works, their normal pathways, how they operate, what mechanisms involve, what ions they are using, dan banyak lagi. Then baru la you guys boleh pergi dekat disease. Kalau defect dekat certain place, what happens to the normal pathways? What is the clinical signs? Macam mana nak relate? Tengok balik your normal pathways and all that, the physiology. Then, know the treatment. Macam mana nak faham treatment? Tengok balik your physio. Embryo u have to undertand also. Because many of disease of the heart are congenital.

Haha. I dont know kalau you guys belum second year, korang boleh faham ke tak apa yang apa saya cuba sampaikan ni. But sorry ni la paling simple boleh saya terangkan. Kalau tak faham term, sila google :)

Lepas tu, masa study. Silap saya yang seterusnya ialah, saya tak boleh nak explain dekat orang. Means tak reti macam mana nak ajar orang. Or explain how the disease occur for example. Masa discussion, kalau ada buku depan mata baru boleh explain. Tu pun, saya berani jamin, saya rasa kawan-kawan saya pun buat-buat faham sebab nak jaga hati member kot? haha. Tapi saya rasa saya ni ego lebih sikit. Saya rasa, saya faham, saya boleh tulis nanti masa exam. But totally im wrong! Bila masa exam, i found out that, im not able to express and explain well in writing form. I cannot explain in my own words. Orang kata apa? Belajar mengkhinzir buta. hehe.

So, tips yang seterusnya, korang mesti boleh explain dekat orang. Nanti bila dah jadi doctor, of course you have to voice out. Explain the disease, how do they occur to the patients, their family members etc. Kalau setakat faham sendiri, tapi tak boleh explain dekat orang. No point you take medicine. Seriously. Sama la kalau you guys menipu dalam exam. No point. Unless you guys nak jadi doctor biasa-biasa. Bila orang tanya blur-blur. I hope Im able to explain well. I ll try to develop these skills. Masa saya resit exam, seriously, i found out that, bila kita ajar orang, kita lagi ingat. Kita bukan jawab ikut ayat lecture notes. Tapi kita jawab ikut apa yang kita faham. Tambah lagi dengan formula-formula pelik yang you guys buat. InshaAllah boleh jawab exam! hehe

Study group. Perlu ke?
Perlu. Of course you have to study alone. Tapi, lepas you study alone, make sure you have some time to discuss apa yang you tak faham. Voice out. Kalau dah rasa faham pun, cuba explain dekat ur member. Maybe you rasa betul. Tapi sebenarnya, fakta you guys salah. haaa. Then, 'study in group'. Means, study sekali, tapi buat hal masing-masing. At least, kalau tertidur pun, orang lain boleh kejutkan. Or kalau nak tidur pun, tengok orang lain study, confirm rasa serba salah! All in all, kena ada masa study sendiri. Tu yang utama. Bila dah malas study, dengar orang discuss. At least tak bazir masa.

In conclusion, silap saya dulu ialah tak study ikut turutan, main hentam je. Then, tak discuss. Then tak reti explain or ajar orang. So better u guys try cara study yang betul ;)
